Ina-Mara Helbig graduated from Augsburg University in 1997 with a degree in law. During her practical legal training, Ms. Helbig spent several months with law firms in the United States as well as in Australia. During her time with these firms she assisted her clients inter alia in contract drafting and trademark matters.
Ina-Mara Helbig was admitted to the bar in Germany in 1999 and is a certified specialist in IP law since 2008. Before joining Reinhard Skuhra Weise & Partner in 2006 she worked for several years in a long-established IP law firm in Munich.
Ms. Helbig specializes in the litigation of Intellectual Property rights, in particular trademark, design and patent litigation. Her responsibilities also encompass anti-counterfeiting measures, in particular customs surveillance and seizure, filing strategies for trademarks, trademark registration proceedings regarding German, European Community and international trademarks as well as unfair competition, copy right and licence agreements.
Ms. Helbig is a member of INTA, MARQUES and GRUR.
