Dr. Mueller graduated from the Technical University Berlin in 1992 and received his Ph.D. at Trinity College Dublin Ireland in 1997.

Dr. Mueller worked as a patent professional with automotive sunroof supplier Webasto AG, and afterwards with offset printing machines manufacturer manroland AG. He became a German patent attorney in 2005 and joined isarpatent in 2010.

His area of expertise lies in the fields of physics in general, but also mechanical engineering and process and control engineering as well as automotive engineering.

Being a native German speaker he is also fluent in English.
