Dr. Hecht studied physics at the Technical University of Munich. Thereafter he received his PhD at the Chair of Physics of the Life Science Center Weihenstephan in Freising in non-linear laser spectroscopy of biomolecules.

In 2004 and 2005 Dr. Hecht was employed as visiting scientist at the Institute for Atomic and Molecular Sciences (IAMS) of Academia Sinica in Taiwan. After his training from 2007 to 2009 at a reknown patent law firm in Munich, he was accredited as German patent attorney in 2010. Dr. Hecht joined isarpatent in 2010 and became partner in 2012.

Dr. Hecht is specialized in the technical fields of biophysics, polymer physics, laser technology, optics, microelectronics, semiconductor technology and semiconductor packaging technology.
