Oliver Hassa graduated as an electrical engineer from the Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen Nuremberg. Prior to joining Reinhard Skuhra Weise & Partner in 2002 he worked on semiconductor technology and integrated circuits with Siemens AG (now Infineon Technologies AG) and was second in charge of the Patents and Licenses department of Conti Temic Microelectronic GmbH where he gained considerable experience in the field of automotive electronics.

He qualified both as a German and a European patent attorney in 2002. Oliver Hassa joined Reinhard Skuhra Weise & Partner in 2003 and has been a partner since 2005.

His area of expertise lies in the fields of electrical engineering, in particular microprocessor technology, communication engineering, analogue and digital circuits, software as well as computer-aided measurement, control technology and automotive electronics.

Oliver Hassa is a member of AIPPI, FICPI, the German Association of Intellectual Property Experts (VPP) and the Union of Young Entrepreneurs (BJU).
