Reinhard Weise graduated from the Technical University of Braunschweig with a degree in mechanical engineering. He worked as a research and development engineer for Smith Corona, USA, before becoming a German patent attorney in 1982 and a European Patent attorney in 1983.

Reinhard Weise was a partner of Reinhard Skuhra Weise & Partner from 1984 to 2005. Since 2006 Mr. Weise is of counsel based in the U.S.A. for RSW.

Reinhard Weise has broad experience in the registration and legal enforcement of German, European Community (CTM) and international trademarks, as well as in the prosecution and enforcement of patents and design patents worldwide.

His focus is on automotive engineering, precision technology, control systems, medical devices, aeronautic and aerospace engineering as well as on pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Reinhard Weise is a member of AIPPI, FICPI, GRUR, INTA and LES.
