Dr. Kleimann studied physics at the universities of Dortmund, Hamburg and Gothenburg. From 1999 to 2003 he was a research fellow at the National Institute for Physics of Condensed Matter in Genoa, Italy, and was awarded a doctorate in 2003 for his thesis on electronic transport through nanostructures.
Tobias Kleimann is highly knowledgeable about solid state physics, in particular about molecular and semiconductor nanotechnology. Through his work in the telecommunication department of our patent law firm, he has gained considerable experience in the field of electronics and software.
He has been working in the field of intellectual property with Reinhard Skuhra Weise & Partner since 2003. In 2007 he was admitted as a German Patent Attorney.
In addition to German and English he speaks Italian and Swedish fluently.
