Gero Herrmann, Physicist 
Holding a scholarship by the German National Academic Foundation, Mr. Herrmann studied physics at the universities of Freiburg, Oxford, and Osnabruck, from where he graduated as a physicist. Following research work in the field of gas-surface dynamics at the Institute for Solid State Physics of the University of Tokyo and at the University of Electro-Communications, from 1998 through 2004 he worked as central application administrator of clinical data systems with Nihon Schering KK in Osaka, Japan. Since January 2005, Mr. Herrmann has been working in Germany in the field of intellectual property rights, joining our office in 2006.
His main areas of expertise include solid-state and surface physics, as well as information and communications technology.
In addition to German and English, Mr. Herrmann speaks Japanese and Russian fluently.
