Mrs. Dr. Kolb studied physics at the Ludwig-Maximilian-Universität (LMU) in Munich and at the University of Miami in Florida. She was awarded a doctorate in 2002 by the LMU for her thesis on the use of confocal-fluorescence-microscopy to study the fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) between single dye-molecules . She also investigated the binding behaviour of mutated receptors, mutated immunoglobulins (Ig) and Ig-DNA-macromolecules at the LMU and at the University o Miami.
Before starting at Reinhard Skuhra Weise & Partner in the year 2007 Mrs. Dr. Kolb worked for the law firm Hofstetter, Schurack & Skora in Munich.
Mrs. Dr. Kolb is fluent in German, English and French and has some basic knowledge in Arabic.
