Dr. Lud graduated as a physicist from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) with the focus on semiconductor physics and biophysics. Subsequently, he was engaged as a scientific employee at the Walter Schottky Institut, the fundamental research institute in semiconductor electronics of the TUM from 2005 to 2009.
In collaboration with the Argonne National Laboratory in the United States he studied on the applications of synthetic diamond thin films, thereby he was also a scientific guest at the University of California in Los Angeles in 2009.
Dr. Lud has deep knowledge in the fields of semiconductor technology, material sciences, tribology, abrasive materials and biosensor technology. Since the year 2010 he works in the field of protection of intellectual property for Reinhard Skuhra Weise & Partner.
