Dr. Tobias Rossteuscher

Dr. Rossteuscher studied chemistry at the Technical University Munich. For his PhD research, he went to Japan for almost three years. His research activities were funded by the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science and focused on "Online monitoring of biofilm in microchannels with Thermal Lens Microscopy". Following further research at the Institute of Applied Chemistry at the University of Tokyo, he worked in the field of Intellectual Property in the chemistry department of a well known intellectual property law firm in Tokyo for about two years.

His main areas of expertise include chemistry, particularly inorganic, organic, physical, technical and polymer chemistry as well as biochemistry and environmental chemistry, with an extensive knowledge in the field of analytical chemistry. Mr. Rossteuscher joined isarpatent in 2011.

In addition to German and English, Mr. Rossteuscher speaks Japanese fluently.
