At this year’s IP seminar, our speakers Oliver Hassa, Franz Stangl, Dr. Marc Lehmacher and Dr. Stephan Tatzel presented the various validity proceedings from the most important national and international courts and patent offices. Among other things, fundamental strategic considerations for attackers and defenders were discussed and practical tips for effective procedural design were provided. The seminar was rounded off with a brief introduction to the new European patent system with a unified patent court and unitary patent as well as an outlook on special features of the US system.
Many thanks to all participants and speakers for an extremely lively exchange of experiences, which once again made this year’s seminar a complete success.
